Ok, so, the application/deposit are in for the apartment, the paperwork is done for Drake and all of my loans, everything is a go as far as law school is concerned. I'm nervous, but mostly excited. I'm really looking forward to this completely new school, city- everything! I've never done anything like this. Sure, I went to Cape Girardeau and never really looked back at Festus, but it's not the same. I knew a ton of people going to school there, it was undergrad, and if I really needed to get away home was a little over an hour away. Not this time...I will be six hours from everything I've ever known with a completely new group of people.
But I guess that's what's most exciting about it.
Here are my course 'schedule' (depends on what section I get lumped into) for the first year:

yeah, they pick your courses for you for your first year. It's kind of a 'make or break you' deal. :-/ Contracts AND Torts? It's like they want me dead of brain overload. Oh well. I got this.
Even though I am going to miss you like crazy... I am still a little jealous of you and this opportunity to completely revolutionize your life. You will do so amazing! I can't wait to visit you in Iowa!!!
